FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where can I purchase the latest version of the standard?
How long will AS9100C be recognized?
The AS9100C standard will be accepted until the end of the three year transition period.
That said, Registration auditors will only issue AS9100C certificates to newly established Quality Management Systems until June 2017.
Certified companies to AS9100C will need to upgrade to AS9100D from when their certification body can begin issuing certificates (sometime late in 2016) through June 14, 2018.
After the three year transition, all certified companies must comply with AS9100D.
What are some of the differences between AS9100D and AS9100C?
The revised standard follows a common structure, with the same terms and definitions as a number of other management system standards.
